Get Involved

One of the most important goals of HBAA is to connect with our local community in meaningful ways. We do this through the provision of pro bono legal services and participation in a variety of volunteer projects, like our Thanksgiving Project.

Current and timely volunteer opportunities are shared in our newsletter.

Pro Bono Legal Services:
Volunteer Today

Through a network of dedicated attorney volunteers, Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas provides critical civil legal services to residents in need in Travis, Hays, and Bastrop counties. Volunteers are greatly needed to provide pro bono legal advice on a wide range of issues.

Volunteering with VLS is a great opportunity to give back to the community while strengthening your legal skills and building a professional network. Volunteers are needed to provide advice during bi-weekly evening clinics in Austin, and over the phone during working hours for clinics held in communities outside of Austin proper.

serve as a mentor!
